So many people have told me the Tasmanian media landscape is broken.

They don’t want the spin, the regurgitated press releases, the underhanded bias designed to twist the truth. They don’t want to be guessing if there’s an alternative agenda to what’s being read.

What they DO want is an open and transparent media outlet that sits in the centre and is trustworthy.

We hold no allegiance to any political party, commercial interest, or outside proprietor. Our only obligation is to the people of Tasmania and to the truth.

In a healthy democracy, an independent press isn't a luxury. It's infrastructure.

We exist to report on the under and unreported stories that matter to us all. We’re not about throwing rocks, but identifying the issues with facts, looking for the solutions and giving everyone the ability to have a say.

It’s all about building a voice for the Tasmanian community.

There’s a lot to do. It’s not going to be easy, but with your help we can make it happen.
